
The only way to truly prepare for a fight, is to fight. While this isn’t fighting (it’s sparring), it’s a close as most of us will comfortably get.
We hold back because there’s no need to injure your training partners. Yet, but this isn’t basket weaving either; I think we all earned enough bruises and shed enough blood to prove it. Still, we always end with a bow and a smile.
